Brookes Autism Library Giveaway Official Sweepstakes Rules
This sweepstakes begins on March 14, 2012 and ends on April 25, 2012. This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.
1. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is required to enter or win. Submit the online form located at http://www.brookespublishing.com/autism/giveaway to enter. You may also email your name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, and e-mail address to webmaster@brookespublishing.com, or mail the same information to Brookes Publishing, Brookes Autism Library Giveaway, P.O. Box 10624, Baltimore, MD 21285-0624. In order to be eligible, all entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on April 3, 10, 17, or 24, 2012. Each person may enter only once.
2. ELIGIBILITY
This sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the U.S. residing in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia, 18 years or older. Employees and their families, subcontractors, and authors of Brookes Publishing are not eligible. The qualifications and eligibility of any participant are at the sole discretion of Brookes Publishing and are final.
3. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Two winners will be selected in four weekly random drawings held in Brookes Publishing’s office in Towson, MD on April 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2012, for a total of 8 winners. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified by phone or e-mail message to the address used in entering the drawing within 2 business days after the drawing. Names of entrants not chosen as winners will be automatically included in the following week’s drawing.
The winners' names and states will be posted at http://www.brookespublishing.com/autism/preview.htm after each drawing on April 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2012. This information can also be obtained by writing to Brookes Publishing, Brookes Autism Library Giveaway, P.O. Box 10624, Baltimore, MD 21285-0624 after April 25, 2012.

Brookes reserves the right to substitute any of the items with an item of comparable value. Winners should allow 4 to 6 weeks from conclusion of the sweepstakes for delivery of the prizes, and prizes will be shipped at no cost to the winner by the most economical shipping method. All prizes are nontransferable and are not redeemable for cash.
5. PRIVACY DISCLOSURE
Sweepstakes entrants are supplying personally identifying information (e.g., name, address) to Brookes Publishing by entering the Brookes Autism Library Giveaway. Participation in this sweepstakes is completely voluntary, and the entrant therefore has a choice whether to disclose his or her information. Sweepstakes entrants’ e-mail addresses will be used only for the purposes of communicating about these sweepstakes unless the entrant requests to receive promotional e-mail from Brookes Publishing. Sweepstakes entrants may receive catalogs by postal mail from Brookes Publishing following sweepstakes entry. 6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
If by reason of a printing or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these official rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
Brookes Publishing reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the web site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify any sweepstakes not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures of any sort.
By entering the sweepstakes, each sweepstakes entrant assumes, and agrees to be solely responsible for, all liabilities and costs arising out of his/her participation in the sweepstakes and releases Brookes Publishing and its directors, employees, and subcontractors from the same. Income and other taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the winner. Brookes Publishing is not liable for lost, late, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected sweepstakes entries of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware, or software, whether originating with the sweepstakes entrant or Brookes Publishing.
7. CONSTRUCTION
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Sweepstakes Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrants and Brookes Publishing, shall be governed by, and constructed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of laws or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Maryland. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provisions were not contained therein.
