Two Programs Added to Maryland's Reading First Approved List

Maryland early childhood teachers have two new supplemental intervention programs to help them teach young children to read. Phonemic Awareness in Young Children: A Classroom Curriculum and Road to the Code: A Phonological Awareness Program for Young Children have been approved by the state for use by Reading First schools.
