Douglas Fisher, Ph.D.
Douglas Fisher, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at San Diego State University. He has taught a range of courses in SDSUs teacher-credentialing program as well as graduate- and doctoral-level courses on English language development and literacy in the College of Education.
Dr. Fisher's background encompasses adolescent literacy and instructional strategies for students with diverse needs. He often presents at local, state and national conferences and has published a number of articles on reading/literacy, differentiated instruction, accommodations, and curriculum.
