Mary Lu Love
Mary Lu Love is the Director/Lecturer of Early Literacy Partnerships at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She teaches HeadsUP! Reading and a seminar, Exploring Early Literacy Mentoring. Prior to this work she was the Education Coordinator for Head Start, taught at Wheelock College, coordinated grant funded programs, and directed child care programs for over 20 years. Ms. Love is an active member of Boston Association for Education of Young Children where she has served on the Board and the Accreditation Committee. She has been a NAEYC Validator since 1990 and served as a NAEYC Commissioner. She presents workshops on a wide variety of quality issues including five topics at NAEYC conferences and the National Head Start Conference. |
