Kathleen Ann Quill, Ed.D.
Kathleen Ann Quill, Ed.D., is Director of the Autism Institute, an agency that provides educators with consultation, professional development, and instruction. She lectures internationally to share her insights about the educational needs of children with autism. Educated at Johns Hopkins University and Boston University, Dr. Quill received her doctorate in Applied Psycholinguistics and has conducted applied research on language, communication, and social development in children with autism. Dr. Quill has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Lesley College, and Emerson College in Boston. She authored numerous publications, wrote DO-WATCH-LISTEN-SAY: Social and Communication Intervention for Children with Autism (Brookes Publishing, 2000), and edited Teaching Children with Autism: Strategies to Enhance Communication and Socialization (Delmar Publishers, 1995). |
