Seminar Description
Dr. Clark introduces seminar participants to his Transition to Independence Process (TIP), which prepares and supports young adults with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) as they face challenges like employment, new educational opportunities, and independent living. During the seminar, attendees
- learn the six guidelines to TIP
- engage in small-group discussions of TIP
- practice intervention strategies
- hear from a panel of young adults with EBD
- design their own community transition system
Dr. Clark answers questions, helps participants understand the frustrating experience of being a young adult with EBD, and shows how audience members can make a difference in the lives of these individuals.
