AEPSinteractive

AEPS®AEPSi™ is the new web-based electronic management system that enables programs to make the most of AEPS’s capabilities, putting them in a prime position to ensure real progress for every child.

AEPSi lets professionals focus on children, not paperwork. AEPSi automatically scores the AEPS Test and generates all of the paperwork that would otherwise be created by hand: score summaries, graphs of children's progress over time, lists of IFSP/IEP targets, the AEPS Child Progress Record, and a present level of functioning report for use at IFSP/IEP meetings.

AEPSi has powerful aggregate reporting functions. In addition to creating individual child, class, and program reports, AEPSi enables programs in the same district, region, or state to be linked so that administrators can generate "roll-up" status and progress reports.

AEPSi helps programs meet OSEP reporting mandates. At no extra charge, AEPSi offers an automated, one-click OSEP report based on an empirically validated crosswalk between AEPS and OSEP Indicators #3 (Part C) and #7 (Part B, Section 619).

AEPSi can determine and/or corroborate eligibility for services. Depending on individual state requirements, AEPSi can help determine whether a child is eligible for services based on the results of the AEPS Test.

AEPSi significantly shortens assessment time. With new assessment activities included in AEPSi, providers can complete the entire AEPS Test for up to six children at a time with only 6–8 everyday activities. The AEPS Test scores for each child can then be entered at one time on one screen, saving substantial time on data entry and scoring.

AEPSi allows programs to collect custom data. AEPSi enables programs to add an unlimited number of their own data fields to child records so that providers can collect the data each program or state requires. Call the data collected can be imported into the program or state's data management system.

AEPSi is highly secure. AEPSi meets high data security standards and is in full compliance with HIPAA. It also comes with powerful but simple-to-use rights management features that enable programs to specify access rights to child records and reporting functions for each user in the program.

And now you can use AEPS® Test results as a corroborating second source for determining a child’s eligibility for services. This brings important advantages: early intervention and early childhood special education personnel have pointed out that AEPS® Test results expand the depth and breadth of developmental information and help professionals develop quality IFSP or IEP goals and objectives.
