Darbianne Shannon, M.A. is a third year doctoral student in Curriculum, Teaching, and Teacher Education, with a specialization in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Florida. Prior to her doctoral work, Ms. Shannon’s experience included classroom teaching for 10 years in the state of Florida in grades Pre-K through 3rd.
Darbianne is currently working as a research assistant in the Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies. Her research interests include teacher learning; training, and technical assistance; instructional coaching; early intervention; socio-emotional development; literacy; and children and families with multiple risk factors.
