Sheryl Wennermark, M.A.
Sheryl Wennermark, M.A., is adjunct professor at Concordia University, St. Paul. She also provides instruction and consultation for early childhood organizations on the analysis of systems supporting the measurement of child outcomes. Ms. Wennermark was an early childhood classroom teacher and mentor for 10 years. In 1996 she was awarded “Outstanding Center Based Child Care Teacher of the Year.”
Ms. Wennermark has also worked for the Minnesota Child Care Apprentice/ Mentor Program (MCCAMP), where she designed and implemented an off-shoot project of MCCAMP to expand opportunities for credit-based mentor instruction, career opportunities and compensation for early childhood educators. She has worked with statewide assessment projects and with Head Start on a regional and national level to implement initiatives to enhance measurement of child outcomes and literacy practices.
Ms. Wennermark earned her Master of Arts in Education with a focus in early literacy and authentic assessment from Concordia University, St. Paul.
