Terry Wasovich, M.A.
Terry Wasovich, M.A., is the Education Program Manager for Blair County Head Start in Pennsylvania, where she trains and supervises teachers in research-based best practices for early literacy. She also oversees the practicum for education students at Mount Aloysius College and Penn State Altoona.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Wasovich was the Coordinator of the Student Assistance Program in Tyrone Area School District and the Program Director for Stay and Play Preschool in Pennsylvania. She has taught in the secondary public school systems in Michigan and Pennsylvania and provided instruction as a resource teacher in Alabama’s elementary school system. She earned her Master of Arts in Developmental Learning from the University of Alabama, Huntsville and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Wasovich has also served as a facilitator for the Pennsylvania Read to Succeed Institute at the University of Pittsburgh and as a faculty member for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Institute for Early Childhood Education at Juniata College and Villanova University.
